Pros
Our department and our role in the company and industry has a lot of potential to evolve. Because the company does not necessarily understand all facets of the department's responsabilities, we had a lot of room to design our future. I would have loved to continue working for this company if they had kept the offices in Geneva.
Cons
The top management is slow-moving and doesnt clearly share its long term objectives. Many key departments like finance and procurement operate the old-fashioned way when so many efficiencies could be implemented. Getting new ideas approved and installed when there are multiple stakeholders is very time consuming and frustrating. Must work in Darmstadt or Billerica if you want to be a part of the HQ.
