Pros

1. Flexible Work life balance. 2. Employee welfare is quite good. 3. Very Co-operative mid/top management team, they always tried best to listen you, helps you as much as possible. 4.Though there are some disagreement on their doubtful career growth policies as mentioned in cons but still you should be hopeful to be awarded/rewarded properly while keep dedication for long term relationship only, i.e. it must be expected to happened some day , regardless today , tomorrow or day after tomorrow  5. The most positive point about mercer is about their Employee retention policy , in my journey I never hear of any lay-off or something due to project unavailability or technical challenges, rather I had found many internal movements where they always intended to keep the employees in their suitable profile as they best fit.

Cons

Dedicated hard work throughout the year may not be enough & sufficient condition to get the fair evaluation. There are some MAGIC theories behind inconsistent appraisal or promotional policies that you never able to understand. You need to be fortunate enough to work with some seniors or have someone with Strong holds who always holds the umbrella over your heads and helps you to move upstairs Or to get some satisfactory hike regardless whatever you have contributed or not. Exception is always there but usually it has been found over there. Giving awards and recognition seems sometimes feel like a showoff .The recommendations provided by low level managers and no cross verification conducted. Thus, it helps managers to increase the numbers of their subordinates having “Yes Boss” attitude rather having dedicated fellows who work hard for the responsibilities given.

Pros

Facilities are good, including meals and cabs.Office location is great.

Cons

Work is not divided properly between on-site and off-shore. Majority of work is done by on-site, we at off shore gets very less work. they follow all processes in development , unit testing peer reviews etc but learning scope is very limited. if you want to learn then dont join, else if you want an easy job with great salary then join as all ur ctc will be fixed, no variable component. Also you have IJPs option every few days - so if lucky can get promotion every year. if thats what you want. but more of a call center not an IT company - KPO kind of organization.

bad management,bad working culture, full of politics done by the person who dont know know work but know how to do boo polish..
