      Pros

      You can do what you want as long as you make money, and as long as you can feed at least five other people.

      Cons

      The most unethical place I've ever worked. It started at the top and ran throughout the organization. Charging clients for work by junior employees whose rates were sky high is no way to run a business.

      Pros

      There are many resources available; lots of opportunity to grow professionally and intellectually (that is, if you put the time and effort into it).

      Cons

      Senior management here is poor; lack of flexibility in work schedule: treated like a child here with no breathing room. The work here isn't grand; very routine and mundane work.

      Pros

      Mercer has a collegial and friendly corporate culture, an excellent work-life balance and terrific resources and intellectual capital. They are an excellent consulting firm and have a great value proposition for clients.

      Cons

      There is a surplus of managers and former managers, no clear institutional direction or career path, and mind-boggling bureaucracy and corporate inefficiency.
