Defined benefit pension plan which is increasingly rare Some extended Benefits My managers were knowledgeable, reasonable, and supportive Fair pay for administrators according to one I spoke with. Some opportunities for movement within the company

Cons

No time for vacations in some departments as slow to hire My department was unwilling to help grow careers but thought keeping people in the existing role was to the department's advantage.
