Pros

It has been very enjoyable to work with some very bright, talented and interesting colleagues, especially the consultants. Mercer's HR-related services and products help benefit its corporate clients and positively touch the lives of their employees.

Cons

There has been too many wholesale changes at the senior management level which lead to de-stabilization throughout the firm. There is no work-life balance at the firm to compensate for the compensation and benefit policy of the firm which is pitched at the 50th percentile.

The company focuses specifically on HR consulting so the growth direction is clear. The pay is on average but the company also gives you other benefits.

Cons

The company seems to lower its hiring standard these years recruiting some people from very unknown schools
