      Pros

      The people I work with are great. There's a strong focus on flexibility and ensuring that employees are treated like adults. There's also a really good employee benefits programme with new initiatives regularly being added.

      Cons

      At times the matrix nature of the organisation means that there can be more red tape then you'd like but this is widely acknowledged as something to rectify

      Pros

      Great clients, great colleagues, used to have a very colleigal atmosphere that has been lost over the last few years

      Cons

      Has become incessantly obsessed with margins and profits. This is great for the shareholders and will produce great results for a couple of years. Longer term, Mercer's success will depend on being able to attract and motivate very talented professionals. Will be increasingly difficult with current leadership rife with bureaucracy, focus on sucking up to levels and more interested in keeping their jobs rather than developing their teams.

      Local leadership emphasis on the work environment, personal development, and involvement; finding good mix between business orientation/results and having fun; much improved communication; more opportunities for recognition; strong focus on clients and quality work

      Learning to collaborate with people across the office; getting used to new office layout; wish the company paid for parking;
