A company this big, and you have a huge gap between the higher ranks and the people on the ground. All initiatives are geared towards the consultants, and the client facing side of the business. Everyone else is an afterthought. The industry knowledge cultivates an environment of exploiting an overly sensitive HR: leave of absences and HR complaints are rampant. Technology was just recently upgraded, but it is still poorly implemented. Tech solutions are a mish-mash of different products, with little regard for compatibility and ability to upgrade. Personal growth depends on the employee, but lines of businesses are still segregated and there's limited information on what are viable career options within the company (not just within their line). New York-centric, which is understandable, since corporate HQ is there, but the way programs are implemented, you'd think the company is only limited to the Northeastern section of the United States. Work/Life balance is okay but not that great. Limited options for a results-only workplace. Tedious work and paper shuffling is rewarded and appreciated more than presenting a completed task.
