Pros

Provide good benefits, PTO, and overtime for salaried employees. Good for a starter job since they are willing to train.

Cons

Strong disconnect between management and employees, disorganized and inconsistent training, a widespread "not my problem" attitude, poor employee culture, high turnover, tendency to spread good employees too thin while neglecting unhappy employees' concerns.

Pros

Benefits are reasonable. Vacation, personal days, and sick time are above average if you can use them.

Cons

There is a block on the vacation calendar for the last quarter that no one told me about when I was hired. If that was the only problem I'd be okay. The department I'm in is Retiree - Medicare and it lead by an office in Norwood, MA. They are the most unorganized, dysfunctional, and stubborn team of leaders I've ever seen. The people in Urbandale where I am are great and frustrated with the people who lead the department in Norwood. The training is unorganized. Worst I've seen mainly due to not enough time allotted. We had to start consults with clients when we weren't even certified with the carrier to do so. I'm hoping CMS never finds out and I lose my license. No clear direction on our role until the crap hit the fan. No information on how our bonuses work. Some in my class didn't even know there were bonuses.

Pros

Great benefits, good salaries and bonuses, most employees have the ability to work remotely. Solid company that isn't going anywhere.

Cons

Outdated technology infrastructure, every decision is political, lack of vision or sticking to one strategy, more important to drop everything and pivot constantly, pervasive fear across management of doing something wrong, everyone is afraid to make a decision and be wrong, so nobody makes a decision. Things move either really slow or really fast.
