Pros

Pay is above average. Bonus structure is solid. Benefits are good.

Cons

Mercer lacks a consistent strategy, continuously changing their direction without regard to the impact on the organization or previous investments. They do not support the development of resources over time, rather they promote and support resources based on familiarity and relationships. Mercer has little knowledge of the technology space and is woefully limited in their understanding of the every-evolving human capital solutions space.

Pros

- the People are nice

Cons

-Compensation is poor -career development is hard to come by. Lateral moves may be easier than upward. expect to stay in the same role for 4-5 years -recent focus on lean/workforce management is micromanagement at its finest. -lack of communication between different LOBs -expect re-orgs every 1-3years - i am embarrassed by some of the products and services we provide to clients
