- fairly good benefits (eg, barista, free lunches)

Cons

- frequent re-org destabilises processes and impacts employee morale - top-heavy organisation where global team has lost touch with what’s happening on the ground - benefits were taken away - talent x program (a job rotation program) lost steam - deserving people were given more work and no promotion if u asked me 1 year ago, i would recommend a friend to work here. but it is now no longer the case

Very organized and clean working environment.

Cons

The culture and brand that made Medtronic the great company it once was, is no longer. Senior management is awful. The company seems to be more concerned with the public perception rather than the internal function and actual improvement of products and services.

Pros

High quality, competent, and compassionate IT work force (those that remain). Fair pay and benefits.

Cons

Too many bureaucracies and chiefs. CIO is lost and out of touch with how to run and execute global IT strategy. Cutting employees to save a $$ but no concern over plummeting support and aging infrastructure. Director and senior leadership only there to make a name for themselves. No cohesion between BUs. You can only have a happy productive career if you are Minnesota.
