Cons

The middle and senior management sucks. There is lot of waste due to poor decision making. No accountability for poor performance of the middle management. Like many other big corporations, it is very political place and there is a lot of decoration work going on.

career growth opptys, decent quality of facilities for employees to take advantage of, work life balance isn't too bad. Good mission.

Cons

Medtronic has become very big and slow to make decisions. Senior management of business units are slow to change the culture. Frustrating place to try to get things done, as decision making authority is held high in the org, and it's not clear WHO can make decisions.
