Pros

Mc Donalds gets a lot of customers, so you won't be bored at the front. Somewhat good communication between co-workers.

Cons

I do not see very many good reasons to work for this place, the benefits are terrible, and minimum wage is definitely not enough for an assisstant manager. However, if you're a fast food addict or something then this is the place for you. The workplace environment is very crummy, disgusting, and unsanitary. I'm talking about some employees who haven't washed their hands after returning from a trip to the bathroom despite the huge sign that tells them to. I have even seen this problem among the senior management at the franchise that I currently work at. Overall, I would not work here again.

Pros

Its a job, good at times and bad at others. I like doing what I do but after crew members repeditly call in or just plain do not listen and management does nothing or just lets them slide it gets a little tireing. All in all I like working at McDonalds it just needs to pay more...

Cons

Overworked at times and always underpaid. I can go get a job at say...Wal*Mart as a CSS and starting pay is more then i'm making at the moment. Only reason I know this is because I am a manger at a Walmart McDonalds.

Pros

You definitely will be employed if you decide to work here at McDonald's. It's a good place to start if you can't get in anywhere else. The job is simple, but really busy during rush hours.

Cons

The carelessness of hiring employees needs to tighten up. I literally was told, "Since you know someone here, you could probably score low on this quiz and still get hired." The pay is minimum wage unless you work weekends, you'd probably get a 10 cent raise. The workplace is usually messy and the McDonald's I was at didn't even have us use gloves while preparing foods. You can see managers popping a pickle or a chicken nugget during slow hours on occasion. They try to limit the number of workers as possible. There are usually 3 people including the manager working evenings when they can't handle it all by themselves. McDonald's is just another cheap and unprofessional place to work.
