It's very profitable company. Stable business. Good benefits.

Cons

Don't think your job is safe because company's business is stable and doing well. It has nothing do to with your job security. Over the past year, this company has been the one where I have seen the most frequent and quietest layoffs compared to any other place I have worked at, and it seems likely to get worse in the future.

Company culture is way too political and hierarchical. Multiple teams doing the same job. Constant re-orgs and silent firings that are very disruptive. Mandatory RTO in the pretense of younger workers needing more facetime to grow. However, the company is so global that you come to the office and spend 90% of your time on Teams.

I used to be proud to work at MC, felt like leaders listened to us. They no longer listen and RTO mandatory 3 days a week is ridiculous. You can apply for remote work but VPs always deny it. They have team agreements but the “team” is a department of 300+ people so the VP decides what days you come in office, you have no choice in the matter. Due to being less productive in office than at home, many people are working a standard of 10-12 hours per day
