      Was a great place to work years ago, not anymore

      Pros

      - 6 weeks vacation and 10 sick days, easy to use PTO - Competitive compensation for the area - Generous 401K match and (historically) generous severance for layoffs

      Cons

      - RTO policies are enforced aggressively, expected to make up in office days even after using sick / vacation time. - Most teams are understaffed, positions often closed and rarely opened. Career progression is extremely political. - Poor raises year over year, annual layoffs in early February - Bad dev culture, archaic legacy systems, extremely poor code quality and no enforcement of engineering standards.

      Pros

      - overall the people you work with are smart and friendly - depending on the team, learn a lot (some are significantly more fast-paced than others); really what you make of it - ERGs and corporate events are fun - competitive pay

      Cons

      - salary calibration compared to peers not well managed or justified - culture has gone downhill the past ~2 years or so with new senior leadership, many people in the middle (Managers/Directors) are feeling stuck without clear vision or space for upward mobility
