Pros

New CEO (Ajay Banga) is transforming the business into a technology company and has an incredible vision and intelligence. The payments industry is rapidly changing due to competitors, evolving technology and regulation, which makes it interesting to work in. Ajay recognizes this broader landscape in which MasterCard must compete and is setting up the organization and pushing his people to think this way. This bodes well for the future of the company.

Cons

Legacy of slow, bureaucratic way of functioning creates lots of inefficiencies.
