Pros

Friendly, competent staff with very little "deadwood". Excellent benefits with pay and bonus. Normally flexible hours for those that need it. Work from home is typically available if the position allows.

Cons

Senior management appears to be shifting many of the technical job positions overseas to India. There is an annual layoff period during the first part of each year and it's anybody's guess who gets cut. Very understaffed in many departments and management is very tight with labor dollars.

Brand name only, If u like service based culture .

Cons

Lot of managers from service based organizations try to push that type of culture ! they just create an aura but actually is just a gas balloon. Micro management , unnecessary updates is the norm of the day at Matercard! Nothing much to learn in therms of work and technology. Indian teams is treated as just poor cousins of the team in US , Australia, etc.

Cons

HR do not support you. They are merely messengers. Its really about who you know and what they think of you. Your experience and abilities are secondary. Lots of overlap in roles and responsibilities. Interview process for internal roles takes months on end and overly tedious
