      ~Half of employees work there because they believe in the mission; several teams, particularly the education team, are close and very supportive of your professional goals; org recently invested in new benefits and professional development for staff; good place to work and have a family/other obligations as leadership and teammates are typically sensitive to competing obligations

      Currently very top-down deciding structure; atypically high turnover, particularly within HR; some programs are highly grants driven-which can premake decisions; internal promotions are uncommon

      Pros

      Great team who loves making a difference! Great benefits! Especially the STEP program! I am able to go back to school and not have to worry about the financial burden of paying for tuition. The program is for EVERYONE...even at day1! Overall, a great place to be!

      Martha's Table is a warm environment that tries to help those facing food poverty. I feel that my time there was able to make a difference in people's lives.

      There aren't any downsides as a volunteer.
