Good first job, not worth it after a year
Pros
We have a snack rack that's usually filled with different kinds of snacks. There's also frozen snacks and quick meal foods. About twice a month we get outside food like pizza and Chick-Fil-A.
Cons
If you work in the evening you'll have to constantly straighten up the store while it's filled with customers. Almost every associate that works on the floor is trained on the register, so while you're straightening up you'll get called over the walkie to be a cashier when the line is long (which is often). You'll also have to grab carts when needed, help with furniture, clean up spills, and work in areas you aren't scheduled in like the fitting room. Oftentimes you're not able to do your main job and just doing what the MOD tells you. The job itself isn't hard, just very annoying and in a busy and disorganized store environment. Outside of this, in my experience there will be multiple call-outs every day and this makes it harder for everyone. Furthermore, if you work part time your shifts will be 4-5 hours and you'll be lucky to get 20hrs a week. If you work full time you're scheduled for 8hr shifts but with a 45min unpaid lunch. Working the morning/day shift is similar except your job is to put out product instead of constantly straighten up.
