Highly political atmosphere Some extremely incompetent people in senior positions who seem to weather every storm just because their 'face fits'. Compliance culture is very poor - just a tick box exercise that is veiwed as a necessary evil. Very poor compliance culture. HR is useless if you have any serious issues - complaints are swept under the carpet and there is one person who is famous for never answering emails or her phone. If you need to speak to her, you have to call someone sitting near her to see if she's in and actually go up to see her! Very poor bonuses and pay increases, unless you are a broker making big £££ for the company. IT is not great and can be very frustrating
