Pros

friendly co-workers, you learn a lot of things, excellent health insurance

Cons

1. salaries way below average; 2. horizontal matrix. absolutely zero career growth if you are not in a central hub eg strasbourg, london etc or in a big country (eg germany) you can say goodbye to real career prospects; 3. age discrimination: if you are over 35, let alone 40+ there is no way that you get promoted to senior manager/director roles; too much focus on new generation "talent pool" which in reality they have zero working experience or working opinion (as every 20year old, having worked nowhere else). These inexperience young people are being promoted via fast track career growth becoming becoming managers of experienced people, which in reality, they add zero value to the team since the experience people bring all (guess what! experience!) and do all the job; experience is valued only informally and with a tap on the shoulder or a best employee award; ending up having a bunch of respect and awards but zero career path since it's taken from the "talent pool" 4. business ethics: politics above all; restructuring every couple of years with outsourcing at maximum and teams being shrinked after each one. Tech support to laugh at as the business invests the minimum (in everything!!), P&O (HR) only in title, as they are nowhere to be seen nor able to do anything; impossible to make it until retirement since you will be fired until then (for whatever reason: restructuring, incompetent manager etc). Nobody to protect the employees rights nor there is any business ethics; in general, you get everything the cheapest possible way, even the food during team gatherings! for a company that makes millions the whole culture is absolutely laughable; company's 5 principles repeated in every sentece proudly as a flag with zero sense.
