Too much politics for a promotion. Do not get promoted for your knowledge and work ethic, you get promoted for kissing up to the managers

1. You start with 3 weeks vacation time a year . 2. The salaries are not bad but you better walk on water.

Cons

1. Better use your vacation time to plan for sickness or you get "incident points". 2. Level positions are called 'zones' and higher zone people ignore lower zone people. You are not as valuable as they are. 3. One of the company's '5 Principles' is Mutuality, yet only Non Exempt employees need to clock in and out. Exempt (Salary) employees don't need to clock out, meaning they can pretty much come into the office, pretend to work for a little bit, then go and take the day off if they want and no one cares.

I have never worked at an organization that cares about their associates the way they do at Mars. Opportunities abound for career growth that helps you step out of your comfort zone and really grow. Highly recommend!

Cons

Sometimes collaboration can impede speed and agility. This is a known issue and one that is being actively worked on to improve.
