Mediocre at best

Pros

Opportunities to move to different departments. Nice work facilities. Some departments are flexible on in-office time. Sometimes there are decent hotel discounts. Tuition reimbursement available for select majors through HR.

Cons

Opportunities for growth in your own department may be limited or non- existent. Pay is well below competitive. Nepotism is rampant. Industry as a whole is not doing well. Medical coverage and other standard benefits are barely competitive, if at all. Most of the higher ups are old white men, fully eligible or nearly eligible for retirement, and very much out of touch. Most of their recruiting is external. The "company culture" they boast of is ye olde boys club mentality.
