      Pros

      Marriott is very flexible and adjusts to your lifestyle, the perks of hotel discounts are also great and there are a lot of opportunities for growth. The health benefits are also very good.

      Cons

      PTO is very difficult as you barely get any as you start out and it takes a while to increase. Also because it's such a sought after company, there is a lot of competition for every job you might want. Salaries are also known to be below average.

      Pros

      They have amazing opportunities if you want to grow as a professional (including tuition reimbursement), some of the best guests and employees in the world, and a vested interest in seeing you succeed.

      Cons

      The amount and variability of the hours are a downside, but once you reach a certain leve, that ceases to be a problem. Work hours are also very demand based, so if your hotel if full, you will be working a tight schedule, if not then you might have a lighter schedule.

      Everybody is on the same page, it is easy to find a good team that fits your personality skills!

      Cons

      The hotel at City Center (Salt Lake City) was overdemanding for under pay because of 2 reasons. Understaffed in every department. Franchised by a Hilton owner Hotel.
