Absolutely zero pros, aside from other miserable souls to share in your misery.

Cons

Do not believe the high stars. They have asked management to go in and add good reviews because they know all the truthful reviews “look bad”. Filled with executives that have no real Pharma experience other than Marken and have learned incredibly poor behavior from the top that wouldn’t be tolerated in any real pharmaceutical company. They lie, throw people under the bus, market lies to clients on capabilities, promote toxic employees, bully employees, band aid fix everything and I could go on and on. The saying for years has been “Marken isn’t for everyone”.

It is easy to cast blame on things that go wrong. We are all humans and mistakes are made by all of us. During my 8 months at Marken my favorite thing was how everyone would take five minutes to help explain or redirect your need. It is not often that you’ll see a SVP taking time to explain the basics of clinical trials especially when that was not at the core of his responsibility.

Cons

Growth and continual turnover has made it challenging for Marken to get to the top of the mountain. They are continually trying to improve things and my only thought was to allow a bit more time.
