Paid on time. Most people at Marken try their best to do a good job.

Cons

No leadership. Blame shifting and infighting with department leads occurs daily. Lack of teamwork and collaboration as its only about hitting the unrealistic expectations by management who are checked out with their heads in the clouds. Poor service systems and processes + no company strategy + nonexistent management + challenging business environment + no employee support = not a place you want to work.

I regret not trusting my instinct when I read such bad reviews before starting. It is not worth it…. The culture is extremely toxic (constant humiliation for the sheer pleasure of narcissistic managers, taking credit for my work, no work/life balance, etc). I would have contacted HR and explained my situation, but when I heard that a trans woman was being treated as a man by her superior and HR was not taking any action, I decided to accept my situation and started looking for another job. If you are a narcissistic/toxic person, this is the company for you, you will prosper and they will love you (misery enjoys company). But if you have any work ethics, consider these comments and the average rate given for this company. Don’t sell your soul.
