Sales Representative/Event Coordinator

Pros

-some commission on sales made -decent hourly pay rate -double-pay on your birthday (if you work) -discounts for you and for family -great staff and fun environment -great experience

Cons

-some staff immaturity -the commission is very small -there's only so far you can climb the ladder in the sales office

Fun, Amazing, Fast-Paced

Pros

Always had opportunities to learn, very fun customers, always had good music and we would dance to certain songs as a company.

Cons

Sometimes short staffed, left later than scheduled all the time, called in to work due to people calling out and not getting in trouble.

Terrible company with toxic culture

Pros

The venues should have potential - lots under one roof and great new floorplans/look

Cons

Main Event is downright toxic from the top down. The company doesn’t care at all about its employees and worries more about managing revenue and labor for Ardent and the executives’ bonuses. The significant amount of turnover at the corporate office should tell you something - hopefully now that the CEO and CMO are our things will get better. Center management is terrible - everyone at the new centers is new and doesn’t know or care how to run a venue like this. Special events are barely staffed and given awful treatment so business you work to build doesn’t come back. You can hit your sales and not earn your bonuses if the rest of the center doesn’t perform. Not enough people to help manage the event teams. A call center opened to help take non-party calls and then labor was drastically cut in the sales offices so we have to work Saturdays with little support during the week. Avoid this place like the plague.

We appreciate your time in writing your review and are extremely disappointed to hear your frustrations. We do like to encourage team work, however the Sales Support Center was opened to take nothing but party calls so that each center can focus on the larger events that can be more time consuming. They say there is a lot of opportunity in change and we're excited t see what the new leaders will bring!
