Pros

Uses hot schedules for employee scheduling, makes choosing shifts to fit your schedule a litter easier -New establishment

Cons

-management very clearly had favorites and if you weren't one of them they didn't really listen to what you had to say. -Did not work with you even when you communicate well in advance of a change in schedule -Late nights, never really knew when you would be going home - the waiters/waitresses were put on a pedestal above all other kitchen staff

Not bad if you're a Student

Pros

- Decent pay for a student - Not too many hours (good if you're a busy person) - Shifts were all after school/weekend

Cons

- Shifts weren't always stable, getting a schedule change a few days before the shift wasn't uncommon - Not too many hours (bad if you need money, but you can cross-train and pick up hours elsewhere, so this isn't much of a problem) - Management can be unhelpful if you're having a problem

Pros

- Laid-back attitude in most situations - Good experience with dealing with customers - Free activities and arcade play, as well as half off food and non-alcoholic drinks - Managers give free meals relatively often, especially for extra work - Simple and comfortable uniform (no polo shirts or khakis) - Paid breaks when breaks are given - Flexible hours, hours always available for weekends

Cons

- Very high turnover rate - Inconsistent pay between different employees - Sometimes unreliable in giving employees deserved money, fixing payroll mistakes, or giving agreed-upon raises - Inconsistent break times; you won't always get a break even when required by law - Inconsistent hours - even though I requested roughly 35-40, I'd get anywhere between 20 and 40 hours, some weeks only working 3 days. Some shifts can be 10 hours long and others 5 hours with no real concern for consistency or personal preference - Constantly loud everywhere other than the sales office, arcade machine sounds are mentally grating after a while - Business includes a bar, so you have to deal with inebriated adults - Managers aren't punished for or prevented from inappropriate actions, like showing favoritism or considering attractiveness as a major means of deciding new hires' positions
