Look after their people
Pros
Good training for products etc, good sales models, look after people when they are not well etc and great for work life balance. As log as you put the effort in you will get the rewards but like any job it MASSIVELY depends on your manager as to wether you will enjoy your job or not. I found that most were fab but the odd one or 2 were awful and just act like bullies if they take a dislike to someone or they are only bothered about their own development and dont really care about anyone else. Luckily most war not like this. Great R&D, great drugs, well respected.
Cons
When it comes to the crunch and they are letting people go it turns out you are just a number after all and they don't really care that much at all. The way they decide one the redundancies is utterly, utterly bonkers and they have lost some amazing people and kept some really rubbish people!!! Crazy.
