Pros
Relaxed atmosphere, nice environment, room to spend time on new topics, good salary, bonus and benefits. Good opportunities and company looking for innovation. I really loved to work for MSD and I appreciated the strenght demonstrated during temporary adversities and the confident approach taking decision looking for the long term results.
Cons
If you are an IT freak that like to work by his own and without very structured protocol, probably you will find frustrating all the regulations that you have to follow and that will make you feel that everything goes as slow motion. As reasons behind all this are explained quite clearly. For me this was not a major issue,I considered it as something new to learn. Be advised to get a good deal for your starting salary as if you are hoping for a major raise based only on your personal performances, it will be very hard to get it. Major raises are associated to new positions/promotion or forvery few candidates that not only performed in excellent way, but also had the lucky to be in a project of great visibility.
