Pros

Most non-management folks are great to work with.

Cons

Management does not respect their workers. They are condescending and disrespectful. They also talk about workers to other workers behind their backs. They believe the workers are happy and should be satisfied because they treat them so well. If that were the case there would not have been a mass exit of an entire department. And the departures continue. Even with newer employees. And yet nothing changes because management just does not care.

Pros

The best part about the job was the travel perks. You got to keep your airline and hotel points, and had a daily allowance to spend on food. Most of the team members I worked with were awesome people - I still keep in touch with some of them today. Some good benefits like free healthcare. The products are incredible - getting to see people hear for the first time is amazing.

Cons

Although peers were great, management wasn't the greatest. It seemed like they were constantly taking away anything that brought us joy. My direct manager was also constantly disorganized and knew little about the job or skills needed in the positions managed. They nitpicked the littlest things when it came to your review - which brings me to the worst part, the pay. The salary was pretty poor and you are only eligible for a 3% raise every year unless you get a "title change" which is extremely rare. There is no growth in the position or company unless you are senior level. The only "promotion" that would be available is if my direct report left. There are no cool perks such as working remote, or summer fridays. We rarely got to leave early and only got to work remote if we came back from a west coast trip. If you are looking for a company with a cool culture this is not it. No 401k match. A lot of the senior managers on different teams liked to act like they were better than us.
