      Interesting and technically challenging. Projects can range from proof of concept/exploratory to production level. Tightly knit project groups Benefits and flex time make it easy to develop a healthy work life balance

      Cons

      There is mismatch between R&D software engineering and software engineering for production level lines of businesses. MDA is working to get R&D software practices up to date. Security restriction make certain development practices impossible or more difficult.

      pretty good salary of local job market

      Cons

      management in the Halifax office are incompetent; those on the west coast are completely out of touch with Halifax and suffer from a form of corporate psychopathy... totally insensitive to employee needs
