Dealing with frustrated customers due to delays in completing the work.

As an auto body tech I’m paid on a commission basis. After 3 years of working for Maaco, our shop was bought out by an investment group from out of state. They are never actually at our shop, BUT they keep the manager on the phone all day long to be berated and given goals to hit… after taking away any bonuses that the manager was receiving for making those goals. The new owners recently reduced my pay by 5% AFTER taking away all of the paid vacations that I had built up over time. “People on commission are not entitled to paid vacations or holiday pay”.. even though literally every other worker gets both of those benefits! I’ve been the ONLY body tech at this shop and produced $300k worth of body work all by myself. No complaints from customers, I never miss a day of work. I’m writing this tonight bc I just received my check (and we’re now paid biweekly instead of weekly, which screwed over almost all of the workers) and it’s only for half of the labor hours that I turned. The new owners, CAP (Carolina Acquisition) are killing this shop and have no soul.
