Pros

Decent pay without college degree. I recommend buying stocks of MAA.

Cons

Lack of loyalty towards employees. The budget is set up for failure and almost impossible to get quarterly bonuses since they don't account for the previous year's negative expense variances. This is a no fun zone.

Relaxed work environment in the office.

Cons

Work more than 7 days in a row, no benefits for 90 days then poor benefits. Always short staffed.

Pros

Very professionally and capabley run REIT/Management company. I've worked for several other property management companies, and MAA has been the best. Clearly laid out goals, policy driven, vast room for advancement, employee longevity, etc.

Cons

The pay isn't the highest in the business but the work/corporate culture more than makes up for that.
