A great place to work,every one on my team (that's office and maintenance personnel) looks out for each other,if maint. needs an extra hand office lends a hands,and when the office is swamped maint.personnel pitch in.That's the definition of teamwork...

Cons

I'm on call 2 weeks out of the month,but that's ok it's not so bad... just that it seems like i get all the holidays on call... I'm a single parent i have to work a part time job to make ends meet . my son is 16 and i don't get to spend as much time with him as i should,and that weighs heavy on me...

Pros

Corporate Office provides prompt support, HR, IT, Marketing, Revenue Dept etc. are all a pleasure to work with. All on-site managers are friendly & helpful to each other. They are your sole support system in order to get thru the day.

Cons

Merger with Colonial brought on favoritism. Turn-over is at an all-time high since merger. Good/dedicated mgrs. from MAA & Colonial are leaving & this is effecting the overall moral off on-site teams.

Pros

They have holiday activities and dinners.

Cons

they are a very abusive corporation with their employees.their managers and supervisors are train to run understaffed, so they have to push 12 or 13 hours worth of work in an 8 hour period.to the point that some employees have to stay after hours in their own time to complete the job because there is no overtime allowed. they basically eliminated any quarterly bonuses.the maintenance employees have to deal with unsanitary garbage accumulation and rats because the administration wot correct a dumpster situation or hire a groundskeeper.I wouldn't recommend having any kind of dealing with this greedy and ungrateful corporation.
