Pros

Working for Lush offered me some great opportunities and during my 16 months working for the company, I was able to develop my career and increase my skills and confidence. I also have continued to work for them as a creative freelancer, as I built great relationships within Lush and want to continue my support of the company.

Cons

I often worked too many hours per week to have much spare time to work on progressing my creative career outside Lush, which is ultimately why I decided to leave in the hopes of achieving a better balanced life.

Pros

The buzz of working here is unbeatable. The people are fantastic and you can't help but fall in love with the products. There are regular incentives and motivation is always geared on by the managers. A very good company run by good people.

Cons

The salary is unrealistic. If I came from a rich family I would still be working here, but I found it impossible to work here and live in London (and eat solid foods). The 50% discount helps a lot with birthdays/Christmas etc, but seeing as you can't pay your bills in bath bombs, it can be a bit useless. I also had a bad experience with a regional manager who told me I was moving store, and I was actually losing my job (and then she stopped answering the phone) which I found completely unprofessional.
