Pros

1) Good food provided 2) Admin facility is good

Cons

1) No proper hike or bonus is given every year. Though the bonus is part of the employee CTC, only less percentage is given. 2) Less opportunity for growth and a very toxic environment to work for. 3) High attrition rate for the employees in the past 6 months 4) Worst leadership/management who don't know anything currently happening in the project. Managers don't take any decision and only nod yes to any request given to them from Lowes Onsite. 5) Service company politics where anybody who butters the manager gets a good rating, feedback and promotion. Fake promises are given always to the employees. 6) Management only cares about themselves and their growth. High priority is given to them for their growth and promotion. 7) Leadership changes every 6 months leading to disruption between the employee and manager which causes even more problem 8) Legacy system is being used in the company. Lowes is still 40 years behind in using the latest application as compared to the current competitors. Very low-quality work is provided to the employees. 9) Partiality is given to certain team or project where it is in a watch list from the upper management. Other teams are not bothered or cared about. 10) HR business team doesn't have any power and is for namesake. Any complains or escalation which is confidentially rasied to them will be openly told to the upper management team about the person who has complained and in turn causing more problems. They never act on the employee complains but rather make sure that the upper management is also comfortable. Skip level meeting is conducted but no use as the HR uses this opportunity to find out who is the employee who complains and in turn rats them out to the upper management 11) No job security. Firing happens frequently without any reason based on directors who want to bring their people into the company. 12) Fraternizing happens a lot with the upper management where they don't look for the talent of the employees.

Pros

Ability to commiserate with fellow employees about all the needless and heartless staffing changes in stores forced down by CEO.

Cons

Powerless to do job assigned work because assignments change moment to moment We routinely have more management than line employees doing the work. Customers are an AFTERTHOUGHT in our daily duties.

Pros

People Benefits 2 weeks vacation Sick days Free food sometimes?

Cons

If you are a good employee strap in to be ridden into the ground with long hours, unexpected walk outs, and no coverage. May God help you if you walk into a Sunday with "just enough" coverage. Be prepared to cover 2 or 3 departments. If you are competent they will see this and abuse it. They will pass you over for promotion then promise you a better tomorrow which never comes. Department supervisors are no where to be seen. Having the power over the schedule, which they will deny even though they collude to make sure they never have to close. When asked what problems to fix they tell you not to talk about the under staffed building. When they actually post jobs, they cut hours. On top of all this while you're doing the work of 3 people they expect you to find time to do their assinin training that 90% of the time doesn't even apply to your department. Along with this the front end is a disaster. Most of the new selling systems are heaped on them with zero training with the head cashiers scrambling to understand the new system of the month. I would describe my time at lowes as a slow ascent into an unmitigated nightmare.
