Pros

There are great people at Lowe's. The company is currently better managed than many other competitors. There's a great amount of freedom to be yourself at Lowe's. Easy to get hired here.

Cons

Workplace morale and structure are deteriorating. Pay is no longer competitive. Strong female preferential treatment by management (men will be fired for same things women might only get talked to about). Climate control is corporate-controlled, not store-local. Expect to work in extreme temperatures during peaks. Staffing and hours are terribly lacking. Worrying level of penny-pinching, even going so far as to neglect bathrooms or hand sanitizer, for example.

Pros

On the Easier side and give some raises but no more than like $0.75 and gives bonuses but if you don't have dependents, your left with 1/4 of the bonus after Tax.

Cons

They tend to take advantage of you if you start learning diffrent departments and have you covering more than 2 departments in your shift with no raise. They will pay new hires more than the people that have been there for years. They are not flexible with the schedule, you will need to submit your availability about 2 months in advanced and might still get rejected as well as vacation and holiday time. Store manager will reject your holiday time off if you are scheduled even if you have enough time to cover it. If you are young, they will Fire you or write you up for talking to any other younger associate. Unless you are a pretty female, males get paid more and then blame it on a system glitch. The store manager does not know anything about the store and only sends emails all day as well as harass employees about getting their online training done over any of your actual work. There are also racist employees as well as the store manager who does not take Disciplinary action after several complaints about the racist employees.

Favouritism in teams and less recognition for hard work!

Pros

Nice office space, good environment, flexibility in work, good bonus. Overall not the best in market but still good salaries.

Cons

Favouritism and Groupism in several teams. The onshore team is given preference over employees in Bengaluru. Less chances of promotions if stayed for long in the organisation. Less recognitions for the hard work as well.
