Pros

This job teaches you responsibility, interpersonal skills and time management. The guys are mostly great to work with and you are always meeting new people.

Cons

The days can be long and tiring. You are in charge of large sums of money and have a moderate level of danger given working with the public and needing to carry a firearm.

Pros

Pay was at least decent. Will hire just about anyone. Gun loan and provided the level 3 license was a plus.

Cons

Oh boy...Loomis, the lack of communication between supervisors, the hours until you drop from exhaustion, the optimized routes were a complete mess and set up for failure, incompetent/lazy employees that were "there for 40 years" that did nothing but sit in the way and start fights, the vehicles always breaking down, no concern for work/life balance, lack of safety concern for employees, will hire just about anyone, and the training is laughable.
