Pros

There's none unless you are management.

Cons

Long hours with no overtime Managers will work you into a puddle regardless of any personal issues you may be having. They never listen to the employees concerns or complaints, they send a letter to your house saying you will receive an anonymous survey that needs to be submitted before a certain date. That survey is given at your branch and the managers sift through them and throw out the ones they don't like before sending them to corporate. I have with my owns eyes seen this happen a few months ago. Managers hide behind "Company Policies" there is an employee handbook but recently branch managers have decreed changes in Company Policy with no paperwork to back it up. It's a "Who you know" job. If you're not being buddy-buddy with a manager you're not going to advance. I know of many individuals in this company who have been working for this company over 10 years and they have not received any compensation. New employees are getting hired at higher wages than some employees that have been there for 5+ years. The "Integrity Line" they have to elevate problems within the branch to corporate is a joke. All it does it route the complaint back to the branch. When you have a concern about branch management, they are the ones who receive the "anonymous" call and nothing is ever done.

Pros

High turn-over means you have a good chance of being hired. Most of the road crew is good to work with, also most weeks are over 40 hours.

Cons

There is no over time; you can invest up to a $1000.00 in equipment; management seem ready to replace you than move your concerns to actions; a lot of the training is by the seat of your pants; Loomis keeps salaries as low as they can
