Old, ill-maintained equipment, have to supply own sidearm, expected to put life on line for very little pay.

Loomis is a great place to learn and to start understanding the world of the armored car industry. Also very good to have as a , reference on your resume.

Cons

It is a very physical and demanding job and can get you very stressed mentally and physically,you have very long hours very low pay and dangerous

Honestly, very hard to find any pros. I guess if you have minimal formal education and are simi-literate they will hire you. If you like 10-12 hour shifts and a constantly changing schedule with split days off this might be for you.

Cons

Terrible management. The motto at Loomis Spokane is "Churn and Burn ". Use them, abuse them and when they get burnt out or move up to the top of the pay scale fire them. I worked at the Spokane Washington Branch for over a decade. The only employees who get fired are over 40 and near the top of the pay scale. They will run you ragged. You will work your tail off day in , day out without the slightest bit of thanks. The branch manager doesn't give a rip about people...just keeping his labor costs down.
