Pros

Lolli and pops overall was a fun place to work. There was always new stuff to try, and I became very educated about the products we sold.

Cons

A few staff members were unprofessional, talked about other employees frequently. Not very many hours.

Pros

Fairly easy work. Hours go by fast, especially on weekends. 50% discount (I gained 5 pounds in my first month because I was eating so much candy. This could be a con lol). Fun coworkers who I bonded with quickly. Helping customers pick out what they want and recommending unique candies to them. When it's slow it's easy to just chill out, there's always something to clean or organize to keep yourself looking busy but not stressed out.

Cons

Lots of pressure to give "tours" to every customer that enters, constantly be helping people and offering samples. Accidentally missing someone causes major problems, especially if they're a "secret shopper" (I failed 2 SS's. They come in often, at least 3 times a week and always on weekends). Nasty little kids can get really annoying, especially when they stick their hands in bins and you have to throw away all the candy in it. Not much room for promotions or opportunities, they never give raises unless you move from sales associate to shift supervisor (which I heard is only 50 cents or something ridiculous).
