      Decent to good salary, looks good on resume

      Cons

      Extremely political and advancement is directed to anyone under 40. Human Resource Dept is ineffective and no one relies on them. Promotions are next to impossible unless you are on management favorite list. The hiring process is 3 candidates must be interviewed and many times LM uses people as check the box candidates just so they hire the person they created the job for. Lockheed Martin will work you like a dog!!!

      Pros

      If you want to work for a defense contractor, look at any other contractor first.

      Cons

      Top heavy in management. Have to be in the drinking crowd, or sleep with management. They are sucking defense contracts dry, and paying themselves high salaries in the process.

      Cons

      Union policies are the main focus on pretty much any job, it is NOT a place for individual thinkers or outside of the box problem solvers. The pay is so-so.
