Pros

Good 401k matching & work life balance. 9/80 schedule means every other Friday off. Interesting work if you seek it.

Cons

Slow paced. A lot of old processes (with at times too many handoffs and paperwork) still in place. If you don't seek interesting work (i.e. stretch projects), young engineers may be stuck with paperwork.

Pros

Best work/life balance with the 9/80 schedule (work 9 hours a day, get every other Friday off). Co-workers are extremely helpful and want you to succeed.

Cons

Cost savings initiatives sometimes go to far. Management always finds ways to cut pennies rather than cut bigger items. There are a lot of processes that are slow because it's a Defense company.
