Pros

Some great and talented people. There is a good canteen in the building and benefits such as family care and maternity/ paternity leave is very good. Central location.

Cons

A very hierarchical place. As with many work places, your work life here very much depends on what team you're in, and who likes you. If you're lucky, you get a lot of flexibility and freedom, for example in terms of when and how often you come into the office. Other line managers are very rigid and make decisions impacting the team with no discretion or discussion. Some teams have been forced to follow the 3 day in the office rule with no exception. It is difficult to tolerate obvious management favoritism - it should not be one rule for one person, and another rule for others.
