      Laid back but unclear job instructions make it tough for new people.

      Pros

      Good place to learn basics of production. If you're either inexperienced or returning to the field after a hiatus it's a good place to get back into shape without worry of getting fired. Basically, you have to do something monumentally stupid to get fired. Wages are average for the are but the health care has always been good. If you want to work forty, work forty, if you want OT, it's there.

      Cons

      Job cards, which you work from, can be very confusing and unclear. Most of knowledge is tribal and can take time to adjust to. Things are often done quickly to get the job done, rather than do it right the first time. There's almost no accountability whatsoever.

      Pros

      Atmosphere in the company is relaxed and I made several new friends. No one takes job too seriously and spending time in the office with my former colleagues was quite fun Good variety and good quality of food in the canteen

      Cons

      Spent few years in the company without having any kind of target or way to measure my performances. Never understood if it was poor HR management or a deliberate strategy to avoid rewarding people. Bonus was ridiculous and spread evenly among everyone in the function. The natural consequence of this situation was that most of the people were demotivated in their daily activities. There was not career progression based on meritocracy. Having the right connections with internal and external influential people was actually much more important than doing a good job and being proactive

      Pros

      Top Management empowered me with all the authorizations and trust to accomplish my tasks effectively. Communication between my supervisor and I are 100% open and constuctive. Benefits are the best I've ever experienced!

      Cons

      In the process of down-sizing the staff and functions. There have been a lot of changes and processes changes over the past few years to improve the company significantly (mainly in the areas being dissolved). If the areas are ever operational again, the processes and functions will have to be re-engaged and start over.
