      Not a good company to work for. Other technology companies provide much better conditions and rewards.

      Pros

      There are some excellent technical staff to work with and a good range of design tools and test equipment are available for use on the projects.

      Cons

      Leonardo has not been a very good company to work for but working there has become a lot worse due to recent site protests and pay disputes. The management style is very old fashioned and career development is very poor despite the published process. Technical training used to very good but that has slipped. Rewards are generally poor compared with other technology companies and salares are neglected until someone attempts to leave (which they must eventually do to get proper reward for their efforts). We have lost a lot of good colleagues this way. This approach is embedded in the management style and has been followed for decades. Note that due to the nature of the projects there can be limited or no opportunities for working from home in many roles.

      Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. We are obviously dissapointed to read that despite some positive feedback your overall experience could be better. In 2025 we invested in our employee benefits package through improvements to base pay, our employee bonus and the range and affordability of our flexible benefits offering. In addition we continue to focus on the development of our People Leaders across the business to ensure they can support their teams. This includes the introduction of three new programmes last year which will continue into 2026. Whilst we appreciate there are further improvements we can make, retention of our employees is a key focus and your feedback will help focus our plans going forward.
