Pros

Good flexible hours (for me personally - didn't apply to everyone), interesting work, worked with smart and fun people, given flexibility to get work done, and given opportunity to choose projects (to a degree).

Cons

too much turnover - some voluntary, some not - which resulted in people thrown into positions they weren't ready for. no training provided (which compacted turnover issue). also in a cost-cutting phase, so comp and benefits aren't great

Pros

You can set your own work hours in the finance department and can meet some good people with morals in a sea of incompetent folks

Cons

Most people with seniority don't know how to do their job...still. Back stabbing is rampant Benefits are horrible for a fortune 500 company Wages are far below market - and the company does it on purpose People with no life often meddle in yours Training for your job is far and in between because most people don't know what they are doing Layoffs are around the corner for anyone on any level, so don't get comfortable

Pros

The company has good benefits and offers a 401k. It's easy to get to work and they provide covered parking (which is great in 100+ degree heat). Working lunches is allowed and schedules are a little flexible with time off allowed.

Cons

Very difficult to move up within the company. Almost no development plans and some of the new departments (less than a few years) have little to no concrete structure of how to do the job and proper training.
