Not a Startup, good stepping stone

Elite engineers at lower level. (They don't get promoted) It is a good company if you are good at playing the political game or being a yes man. Good to be manager as the job is easy, just keep cost and salary low. A good stepping stone in your career as you can use the offer/your position to negotiate better offer elsewhere.

Cons

You get promoted by how good you are at following orders and sucking up. Even so, promotion opportunities are rare, and only given to incapable people who is a good friend to the boss Speaking your mind or the truth is seen as complaining, so don't do it. low to nil salary increase.

good colleagues, you make friends easily

Cons

everything is top down. teaches how to be better but doesn't execute (hypocrisy). low pay (milks you from the moment you get in but offers hire pay if you're needed all of a sudden, aka you're the last member on the team after the rest have resigned). you cannot work from home when you want to. demotivating (many come in with high energy but is sucked up within months).

I can hardly think of any.

Cons

- Expect salary to be less than the market rate. - Anyone can be anybody there. Someone with no/insufficient experience can be the lead or manager as long as you can suck up to the management. - Management is not receptive to new ideas or initiatives. - Politics. - Almost zero welfare and growth for employees. - HRs are there for show, they have no interest in the employee's welfare.
