Pros
Projects deadline are quite flexible and not much pressure if cannot be delivered on time as long as you have legit reason. No one will scold you for almost anything.
Cons
As we rely on data so much to improve our business, one of the key reason I left the company is because the data is no longer a key pillar to this company. I can sense that they hire wrong people, and keep the wrong leader here. Our BAU job is normal and we can still find our way to access the data at high level. But when we do the deep dive or making some fine-grain initiatives, the data provided by the analytics team are ALWAYS WRONG. And the requests also keep being pushed back and ask us to wait and use replacement. I did not encountered such leadership in analytics team before. The old teammates (who has left suddenly in one go) were one of the best team I have ever met but now turns into a loosely managed team with people always being late and lazy playing phone all the time. And my team just sit here without much to do but just to use the proven result that we tested long ago to grow the business. Without new initiatives using data. If it is not a data-driven tech company anymore, then why I should stay while the salary does not keep up with the market and my exposure is not enough to cover the financial part.
