No meritorcacy (only highly recomended friends and lovers); salary are very low and no professional growth is expected; the health insurance is useless (especially for women); no flexibility and smart working is a gesture of kindness for which you must be grateful for the rest of your days; Nobody cares about your skills unless they are of use to somebody and there's an overall general cultural, English included. Male chauvinism and patriarchy rule the university.
